Branding & Website Design for a Maryland-Based Accountant

An accountant in Maryland reached out to me for help in starting up their new business, “The Balanced Sheet.”

I was given a brief of what she was looking for: (1) A clean, fresh, simple look, (2) a leaf motif, (3) a color scheme of white, black, and soft green, and (4) something that conveys professionalism and approachability.

I went to work immediately on the brand and came up with 3 logo concepts for review. We ended up selecting this design, which combines the concept of Balance sheets with a leaf to create a simple yet original brand. The client also received their brand in multiple layout variations, a few Social Media post templates, and branding guide explaining the color palette and font usage.

The same themes carried over into the Website design. I developed a custom WordPress theme for The Balanced Sheet, which included fields in the backend for the client to easily manage the text content. While the design is finished, the site is still in the content-editing phase and is scheduled to launch soon!
